About Curate.Us

Founded in 2010, Free Range Content, Inc. creates dynamic tools for publishers and bloggers to maximize the reach and impact of online content. We developed Curate.Us because content creators on our team wanted a way to share articles and quotes that was easy, ethical, appealing and which included automatic attribution and links back to the original source.

Curate.Us gives users a simple, great-looking way to curate and share content, instantly boosting the impact of blog posts, e-mail, websites, and social sharing. With one click, Curate.Us creates screenshot-like visual clips and automatically formatted quotes that can be posted anywhere on the web. Viewers are five times more likely to click back to the original publisher from Curate.Us clips and quotes than through plain links.

What people are saying about Curate.Us

Curate.Us (formerly Clip.ly) is really neat: it’s a free clipping service where anyone (an account is not needed) can make a screencap or text quote clip that embeds into a blog post. It hosts the image and does all the work for formatting and linking, in addition to providing a customizable interface where users can resize, reformat and customize the clip.
